‘Get Your Groove On’ Friday 12 August

Are you joining us for our big night out? It's like a school social for adults – dancing, drinking, and a heap of fun!  Here's the run-down for the night. 
«  7pm doors open - come and enjoy your free beer/wine/cider or soda and some nibbles, and check out the raffle prizes. 
«  7.30pm ‘Shut Up & Dance’ take us through a fun dance lesson - no experience or coordination necessary. If you're not a dancer, feel free to hang out with the other non-dancers by the bar. 
«  8.30pm we take over the playlist and the music goes loud. 
«  10pm Raffles drawn and then the music goes back on.

Non-dancers welcome, a great night to hang out and party with friends. Grab your tickets from the school office $25.

 

PFA meeting Friday, 5 August, 2pm in the staffroom. All welcome – come along, see what the PFA does, and meet some other parents.

Remember school lunches Monday and Thursdays - get your order in by 9am on the day. Healthy yummy food from Party Perfect. Order online at www.lunchonline.co.nz/

It was great to see new faces at our meeting on Friday. Minutes are up on the PFA blog, kapanuifundraising.blogspot.co.nz/
Remember that any parents and friends of the school are welcome to come to PFA meetings. Dates for our next meetings are Friday 1 July, and Friday 5 August, both 2pm in the staffroom.

Interschool Cross Country sausage sizzle
On 21 June the PFA is running a sausage sizzle at the Interschool Cross Country. This will be a big
fundraiser for us, and we welcome many more hands to help. Please email Kirsty on richgreen@clear.net.nz if you can help for an hour or so.

Get Your Groove On! – Friday 12 August, 7pm (R18) – let's go dancing! Tickets on sale from

Are you able to help us with any of the following?

• Disco lighting
• Wine glasses hire
• Chiller trailer
• Bar leaners and stools
• Printing of banners and posters
• EFTPOS machine we can use on the night

The PFA meeting for June is this Friday, 10 June, 2pm, in the staffroom. All parents and friends welcome.

SAVE THE DATE! Friday 12 August – "Get Your Groove On!" at the Waikanae Memorial Hall. An evening out for parents/neighbours/friends – start organising your friends and babysitters now! (18+, ID may be required). Get practicing your dance moves! 

School lunches are going well, one comment was that it was "Yummy, I had a cheese scone and lemon muffin, going to try the rice salad next week." Remember to get your orders in by 9am on the day you want lunch delivered.
